The Economics of VoIP

VoIP has become interesting because of the cost advantages to traditional telephone networks, especially for International calls.

Using the same connection for data & voice makes it so cheap and even free.

There are different methods of making VoiP calls:

- Using your "normal" telephone with a VoIP adapter

- Using a VoIP telephone

- Using a DSL/VoIP modem/router

- Using a computer with headphones

VoIP Calls

VoIP calls can be placed either to other VoIP devices, or to normal telephones on the public telephone network.

VoIP to VoIP calls are totally free.
